I believe we require less fixing and more honoring of exactly where we are in the moment to be a catalyst for growth and self-discovery.  

 

Therapy should be rooted in collaboration, culturally responsive, and a space that nurtures deep introspection, encourages self-discovery, and honors how you choose to respond to your current circumstances. It is through deep exploration of your values, dreams, and beliefs that you can cultivate meaning in your life that restores hope, purpose, and determination amid suffering. Through empathy and reflection, I encourage you to push past your comfort zone and support you in your journey towards where you want to go. In this space we honor your humanness which requires more acceptance, less criticism and more self-compassion.  

 

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I enjoy working with couples and adult individuals experiencing life changes, personal growth challenges, anxiety, depression, and relationship distress. I operate from a humanistic-existential and psychodynamic lens, and I draw on principles of The Gottman Method and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) in my work with couples. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and I am mindful of how our individual, societal, and diverse experiences impact our connection with ourselves and with others.
