What to Expect
1. Contact Us to Make an Appointment
If you have more questions, you can set up a FREE 15 minute phone consultation with the therapist. Once you have scheduled your first session, look out for an email from us to complete your consent forms and assessment.
2. Attend Initial Assessment
Our Couples Therapy Assessment consists of a total of 6 sessions, starting with 1 session together, 2 subsequent sessions with each partner separately and 3 more sessions together. Once the Assessment is complete, your therapist can provide you with a treatment plan to reach your goals.
3. Start Treatment Sessions
Start Treatment Sessions to reach your personal goals. The frequency and duration of treatment is dependent on a number of factors - your specific needs and goals, your schedule, your finances, and the complexity of your treatment - and should be discussed with your therapist.
4. Closing Session
Our practice recommends that once you have met your goals to end with a closing session to bring closure to your experience and discuss any further recommendations or resources.
